Class Descriptions. Fall-Winter 2012-2013
September 5TH - December 19TH.
Wednesdays 7:30 - 8:30PM
Will introduce you to the fundamental of the Flamenco Dance. This class will work on proper posture, basic footwork, turns, hands and arms including Castanets exercises (provided by the instructor). In this class you will begin to develop the muscle strength and skills necessary for Flamenco dance.
Choreography: "Sevillanas and Fandangos".
No prior dance experience required.
Technique for all level.
Mondays 7:00 - 8:00PM
This class is design for all levels. We won't follow any choreography in specific; we will focus on arms, hands, head and footwork coordination.
Mondays 8:15 - 9:30PM
Students will find more challenged footwork combinations, contratiempo, turns, clapping and manton exercises.
Choreography: "Sevillanas with Castanets, Tangos and Alegrias".
Knowledge of all four Sevillanas and some dancing with Castanets experience required.
Classes & Dressing Codes
Wear comfortable clothe, Flamenco shoes, character shoes, or boots/shoes with a thick, wide heel are recommended.
Skirts are optional for beginners.
If for any reason you are late, please walk in quietly and join the class in the back.

$15 Single class
$25 Two classes per day.
Six week session:
$70 Once a week
$130 Twice a week
